HARRISBURG UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY SUMMER ENRICHMENT

Harrisburg University of Science and Technology’s Summer Enrichment Program provides incomparable hands-on opportunities for high school students to engage in a wide variety of STEM exploration programs. While learning is the key goal for these day camps, you will be surprised how much fun you can have letting your imagination run wild with the potential inventions, technologies, or scientific issues you can explore. 

PROGRAM DETAILS

• Location: Harrisburg University of Science and Technology in Harrisburg, PA

• Program Length: 6 days, 5 nights

• Dates: Exact session dates TBA – check back soon!

• Participant Mix: Mix of students from all over the state and country. You may or may not have other Summer Searchers with you depending on your course

• Accommodations: Dorms, shared with another Summer Search participant  

PROGRAM ACTIVITIES

• Engage in workshops and hands-on gamification within the subjects of Robotics, Drone Exploration, Quantum Computing, and much more.   

• Engage with science and technology professors and other staff to gain more understanding of professions within these fields entail.

• Participate in planned student life activities such as game night, water golf, and movie night that are planned by the resident advisors (RAs).

• Are comfortable sharing a dormitory room with another student and being away from home for a week.
